Nili Feferberg is an Israeli - British contemporary artist living and working in London. Her multi-media practice embraces painting, photography, video, ceramics, and curating.

Her current sculptural work is fluid, playful and elusive. These layered cast mineral sculptures seemingly relate to everyday objects as a method of challenging and questioning our perception of what we conceive as familiar. She is interested in the intersection of the philosophy of materiality and psychology from a feminist perspective:

“Understanding materiality as ontology - as agents rather than merely as representative, or a reflection of the cultural world, embracing the ontological similarities of humans, objects, and other species could lead to a more equal world”, says Feferberg.

Nili obtained a BFA Cum Laude at Bezalel Academy for Art and Design, Jerusalem; MFA at Goldsmiths University, London, and in 2021 gained an MA in Ceramics and Glass at Royal College of Art, London.

She has been awarded various grants and has won prizes. Nili Feferberg participated in an exchange program at Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Her work is in public and private collections.
